Today was interesting. Using Web 2.0 Tools I was able to find several new kinds of technological tools to use in my quest for domination of technology.
First, I created a YouTube account and subscribed to several other accounts. I use YouTube so much, it was about time. I have commented on a couple of videos and felt super cool.
I downloaded the Stumble Upon software stuff and started stumbling. I found a hilarious random video of an artist's violent interpretation of Super Mario, some weird Danish dancing, and a great list of awesome books that won a reader's choice award for a literary website.
I added a bunch of stuff to my RSS feed and I now frequent Google Reader for updates. It's incredible! I want to use it to build my PLN and try to stay up to date on all of the latest tools and information.

Lifelong Learning
I loved the quotes from General Authorities. I have always loved learning for the sake of learning, and I always feel a sense of urgency and like I don't have enough time to learn everything I want to learn. I have seen the RSS feed buttons, but never realized what they were or what they'd do. I have already added several sites to my feed and I am sure the list will only grow. I can use the feed to stay up on current events, recent updates to enterainment portals I enjoy and to find more interesting information that I may be able to use in my teaching career. Love it!

Project Proposal
I plan to complete our class projects by the designated times on the syllabus calendar. That is
Project #1 Feb. 10th
Project #2 March 17th
Project #3 April 7th
I don't really have any plans or additional information about my projects yet, but I'm sure I'll come up with something brilliant eventually.

Feels Like the Very First Time
I did it! I created this blog for my Instructional Tech class! It took me about 30 seconds to get the blog up, and then I spent about 5-10 minutes doing some basic customizing. It wasn't so bad. Who knows, maybe I'll keep it once this class is over.
I could see this being extremely useful in a course. I could post notes, assignments, updates and links. Parents could access the blog to see what their student is up to; students could check it out to see what assignments are coming up or find links for homework help. It could also be a good place to post rewards, congratulations or particularly good student work.
I'm excited to see what I can do with this and other forms of media. Hopefully I can learn a lot and stay up to date with the current technologies so that I can be a more effective teacher and better relate to my students. :)
